Bill Gaito - Head Coach
Bill Gaito will lead this year’s 10’s team. Bill has coached ASA softball at 10U through 18-Gold levels and in high school. He is a recognized pitching and hitting coach with experience as a college pitching coach. His daughter was the #1 pitcher at U.C. San Diego as a freshman last year. Bill strives to motivate each player to be their best. Eric Crandall and Bill coached the only Marin County girls softall teams every to qualify for ASA Nationals. Emily, Laura and Monica each played college softball. John and Don are experienced travel-ball coaches. The 10U coaching staff will work with the 10’s to establish enduring fundamental skills and knowledge of the game that will enable them to compete with the best teams in Northern California .
Eric Crandall - Coached for 7 years with Blue Angels, AftershocK, in 18-Gold with
the San Jose Lady Sharks and San Jose Sting, and at Dominican University. Eric has coached the ONLY teams in the history of Marin County girls softball to ASA Nationals: Blue Angels 10U (2001) and AftershocK 14U (2004) & 16U (2005), finishing 9th, 17th & 17th respectively
Emily Atkinson (who played catcher at Southern Connecticut State, graduated in 2007 and now teaches in Marin County.
John Jones - John has coached rec and travel softball for the past six years. He is an experienced tournament player and has worked with a wide range age groups.
Laura DeMartini (who played for and is currently a junior at Dominican University and was the Marin County Athletic League high school softball player of the year as a senior (2007) and pitcher of the year as a junior (2006).
